Nine members of Washington Sculptors Group, had work selected from the WSG Image Bank, and were invited by the Merida Museum of Contemporary Art to install sculptures at a long-term open-air exhibition on the streets in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. The show started in May 2005 and will continue 10 months.

The WSG artists who are showing work are:
Donna McCullough, Wendy Ross, Foon Sham, Millicent Young
Robert T. Cole, Drew Goerlitz, Craig Kraft, Dalya Luttwak, and Claire McArdle,

To celebrate this special event, the Mexican Cultural Institute is hosting a panel discussion lead by Twylene Moyer, managing editor of Sculpture Magazine with six of the artists who travelled to Merida to participate in the opening of the show. Panelists are: Robert Cole, Jason Hughes, Craig Kraft, Dalya Luttwak, Wendy Ross and Foon Sham. We understand that Silvia Madrid, Curator of the Merida Museum of Contemporary Art expects to attend.
